Located in beautiful central Minnesota, the Circle R Ranch is a unique summer horse camp that offers a rich experience for girls and boys ages 7 through 17. Circle R offers week-long, overnight sessions from June - August every year. Sessions include Girls Only and Co-Ed weeks, as well as our highly popular Teen Weeks and Mother-Daugher week.

Without a doubt, the trail rides each day at Circle R Ranch are the most popular activity. On day one, each camper is matched with their specific horse to bond with and ride for the week, based on the camper and horse’s experience and personalities. Campers are taught to groom, saddle, lead, and ride their horse in a group of other campers with similar experience under the close supervision of their counselors. The rolling hills and beautiful woods that accompany the trail ride to an authentic overnight campout in the pasture can certainly be a highlight of the week.

While many come for the horses, most say they come back each year for the people! Finding special friendships (with the four-legged and two) is an important part of what makes Circle R Ranch so wonderful.
